Coast Guard Station Golden Gate

(East Fort Baker under the north side of Golden Gate Bridge)

 

Class content includes: "Rules of the Road," choosing a boat, buoys & markers, plotting a dead reckoning course on a chart, tide book usage,

marine radio, boat terminology, legal requirements,  boat handling, aids to navigation,  trip planning, knots and lines (marlinspike),  

weather and basic navigation.  In other words - everything you need to know for safe boating.
