Member training and education is an important benefit and enabler of the continued success of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary.  In addition to the training we receive, we need to put the skills into practice on a regular basis to keep them honed.  This is the only way we can reliably support our primary missions related to vessel safety checks, conducting harbor patrols, teaching safe boating courses, search and rescue, and supporting marine environmental protection.  Working alongside other Auxiliarists and the Gold side helping the public is exciting and rewarding.

We are an all volunteer organization made up of men and woman in various stages of our lives.  Our interests and ability to actively participate and support the USCG will likely vary from year to year depending upon work, partners, family, kids, pets, and other interests.  You may have found some of your qualifications have lapsed and now find yourself in a position where you wish to re-engage and get current.  New members can be slightly over-whelmed reading through all the information available on the websites.

As a first step, reach out and contact Bob by email.  He'll review your interests, status and working with other leadership help put together a program that meets your needs and available time.
